The Guest List module provides a complete guest management workspace for a wedding — tracking RSVPs, dietary requirements, attendance types, and seating groups. It is informational only and does not generate billing items.
Overview
Add the Guest List module to a wedding record from the Modules section. Once added, you can begin building out the guest list. All guests are associated with this wedding's module instance. The module provides a summary of totals — confirmed, declined, maybe, and unknown — that updates automatically as you manage the list.
Adding guests
Open the module and click Add Guest. You can also add guests in bulk if you have a list to work from. Each guest is added individually with their own record.
Guest fields
Each guest record has:
- First name and last name
- Email address and phone (optional)
- RSVP status — see below
- Attendance type — see below
- Group — see below
- Meal choice and dietary requirements
- Table / Seat — for seating plans
- Notes — internal notes for this guest
RSVP tracking
Each guest has an RSVP status:
- Invited — invitation sent, response not yet received
- Confirmed — attending
- Declined — not attending
- Maybe — uncertain
- Unknown — status not yet determined
Groups & attendance
Each guest can be assigned to a group: Partner 1's Family, Partner 2's Family, Partner 1's Friends, Partner 2's Friends, Mutual Friends, Colleagues, Wedding Party, or Other. Groups are useful for filtering and seating planning.
Attendance type records which parts of the wedding a guest is attending:
- Full Day (Ceremony, Reception & Evening)
- Ceremony & Reception Only
- Evening Only
- Ceremony Only
Dietary requirements
Each guest can have one or more dietary flags: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free, Halal, Kosher, Pescatarian, or Other. A free-text dietary notes field is also available for additional detail. These fields feed into menu planning and communicate requirements to your catering team.
Portal visibility
When the Guest List module is enabled for portal visibility, the couple can see their guest list in the portal including RSVP statuses and attendance types. They can review who has confirmed or declined. Internal notes attached to individual guests are not shown.
