Weddinguru includes two separate modules for decoration and presentation: Floristry for floral designs and stems, and Venue Styling for décor items and room dressing. Both integrate with billing and the couple portal.
Overview
Both modules are added separately from the Modules section on the wedding record. You can add one, the other, or both depending on the services your business provides. Each has its own data structure, billing items, and portal section.
Floristry module
The Floristry module manages floral designs, the stems used in each design, and any associated production materials. It includes a full revision history so you can track changes agreed with the couple over time.
Floral designs
Each design has a name, a design type, quantity, and notes. Design types include: Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid Bouquet, Buttonhole / Boutonnière, Corsage, Flower Crown, Table Centrepiece, Top Table Arrangement, Ceremony Arrangement, Arch / Arbour, Aisle Décor, Cake Flowers, Garland / Swag, Wreath, Pew End, Entrance / Welcome, Loose Stems, and Other.
Each design has a unit cost which feeds into the billing total. You can record a colour palette, style notes, and reference images for each design.
Stems & materials
Stems are added within a design. Each stem has a name, a stem type (Focal Flower, Secondary Flower, Filler, Foliage / Greenery, Textural, Trailing, Dried / Preserved, Other), quantity, seasonal availability, and a flag for whether it needs sourcing. Materials — tape, wire, vases, foam, candles, wrap, etc. — are tracked separately under the package and generate their own costs.
Task types for production planning include: Consultation, Sourcing / Procurement, Conditioning, Preparation, Assembly, Delivery, On-Site Setup, Quality Check, Teardown, and Collection.
Venue Styling module
The Venue Styling module manages the physical décor items used to dress the venue — linens, centrepieces, lighting, candles, signage, props, arches, backdrops, and more.
Styling items
Each styling item has a name, item type, quantity, description, and cost. Item types include: Chair / Seating, Table, Linen / Fabric, Centrepiece, Lighting, Candle / Lantern, Floral Accent, Backdrop / Draping, Signage / Stationery, Tableware / Crockery, Glassware, Prop / Decorative, Arch / Structure, Aisle Décor, Ceiling / Hanging, Floor / Rug, and Other.
Items have an availability status (Available, Reserved, In Use, Under Maintenance, Unavailable) and a condition rating (New, Excellent, Good, Fair, Needs Repair, Retired). Items can be organised into styling zones representing different areas of the venue.
Billing items
Both the Floristry and Venue Styling modules generate billing items based on the costs recorded. For Floristry, each design with a cost generates a billing item. For Venue Styling, each item with a cost generates a billing item. Access these via Add from Modules on a quote or invoice.
Portal visibility
When enabled for portal visibility, the couple can see floristry designs and styling items. For Floristry, they see design names, types, notes, and colour palettes. For Venue Styling, they see item names, descriptions, and quantities. Internal notes and cost details are not shared unless pricing disclosure is enabled.
