Your business profile is the source of truth for all documents and correspondence Weddinguru generates on your behalf. Keeping it up to date ensures that quotes, invoices and receipts always reflect accurate details.
Where to find business settings
Go to Venue Management → Business Settings in the left-hand navigation. This section is accessible to admin users only.
Business details
The following fields appear on all quotes, invoices and receipts:
- Business name — your trading name as it should appear on documents
- Slogan — optional tagline shown in certain document headers
- Logo — upload a PNG or JPEG (recommended: at least 300px wide, with a transparent background for PNGs)
- Primary email address — the main contact email printed on documents
- Primary phone number — shown on documents and in the couple portal
- Website — linked in certain portal and email templates
Address and contact details
Your full business address is used on invoices and receipts (particularly important for VAT-registered businesses). Fill in:
- Address line 1 and 2
- City
- Postcode
- Country
A secondary phone number field is available if your venue has a dedicated bookings line that differs from your main number.
Currency and timezone
The default currency is set here and applied to all new quotes and invoices. This can be overridden per-wedding if needed. GBP (£) is the default.
The timezone setting affects how dates and times are displayed throughout the platform and in email notifications. Set this to your venue's local timezone (e.g. Europe/London).
VAT and company numbers
If your business is VAT-registered, enter your VAT number here — it will be printed on all invoices as required by HMRC. Your company registration number (if applicable) can also be added and will appear in document footers.
These fields are optional — leave them blank if your business is not VAT-registered or not incorporated as a limited company.
