Yes! Your referrals accumulate over a 12-month rolling period. So if you refer 5 people throughout the year, you'll unlock the Gold tier and receive a free month.
Your reward is based on them becoming a paying subscriber, regardless of which plan they choose. If they upgrade later, you've already earned your reward!
